Am I supposed to like this thing?

Mom found this at a thrift store, and brought it home because she said it reminded her of us. Why, I do not know. I do know that I don't like it. The thing makes funny "boing boing" noises and moves even when no one touches it. I think it is the devil.

Skip, on the other hand, is intrigued. See how they look alike? Skip can have it, I am sooo over this dumb toy.

Skip is actually making friends with it! Maybe he thinks it is food. Yeah, he is either going to eat it or send it some pee mail. Mom decided that since we didn't like it, she would put it here:
Click here to see what happened to Slinky Dog. Ha, ha mom, very funny, and very original. Please someone take this thing away from our house!

Back to School!

Well, our kids went back to school yesterday. It was kind of sad because we loved having them home to play with us over the summer. They always give us treats and snuggle with us on the couch, and the best was when the friends came over, we got to bark alot and act wild. Mom called us "little Hell-ions." But mom says all good things must come to an end, so we were sad when the bus with the loud BEEP BEEP BEEP backup buzzer came and they went away so early. This also means no more SpongeBob all morning, but mom says she is tired of the "Big Yellow Idiot" and it is just noise pollution and how can anyone stand that?

So how do you like my picture? This is my girl's Dooney and her backpack. I think I would look good going to school with these, esp the Dooney.( Although I will agree with the girl that math is boring and stupid and why do we need it? The girl says that she has learned to count money for shopping so that is all she needs in life. Good point.) The pink heart on the Dooney matches the one on my collar. I want to go to the mall so bad and learn about "shopping." I hear there is lots of walking involved, and sometimes food, but the people always come back with interesting bags that make noise and fun clothes with new smells. I don't get new clothes because Skip just eats them up. Just like he did here:

Exhibit A. Skippy is celebrating back to school by eating a pencil. Talk about an idiot. When he gets excited, he eats things. Mom says, "Oh, well, it has been 24 hours so I guess he is going to live." I'll show you some more thing he has eaten later. He likes to eat Legos, Lincoln Logs, tissues, and gross stuff. No wonder he has such bad breath. There is no telling what has been in that mouth. EWWWWWWWWW.
I have to get my beauty sleep for the next 3 hours so I will be rested up for the UPS man. I just love barking at that big truck as it goes by our house. Sometimes, he comes to our driveway to bring mom things for her job. Then he rings the doorbell and we all go crazy for about 5 minutes, and mom says, "Ok OK!! I get the message! It is just the UPS man. Get a life and go back under your blanket. Good grief, you are so high maintenance!!" I don't know what that means, but I do know that I could use a pedicure.
Have a good day!

We had company!

We had some company today! Our cousin Daisy came over. She is so funny. She is afraid of everything. We got Granny some balloons for her birthday, and Daisy hid behind the chair all day because she was afraid of balloons. She has issues. We got to play outside and it was super fun. Here is Puddy in her hideout in the back yard:

And here is Puddy and Daisy playing. They always tell secrets and leave out me and Skip. Um, Puddy, just because you can't see us doesn't mean we can't see you.

Which leads me to my next point: I think Skip is faking it. He is just acting sick with his blessyous. He knows that the more pitiful he is, the more cookies he gets. So I got him back, I threw up on the carpet. That always works for some attention. No, I am not bulimic so don't even go there. I don't need to be in rehab or anything. Skip is just getting on my last nerve with this blessyou thing. He only does it when he wants attention, or wants to steal my duck without getting in trouble. More later, I think the UPS man is coming soon, so I have to be ready!

Finally, a day outside!

YAY! We got to play outside today. It has been either too hot, or too rainy to go outside. And Mom, well she has been so busy. That's why we haven't written in a while - she won't get off the computer. She keeps yelling things at it like, "What now!!" and "Great, I can't believe this." Then she starts taking things apart and says, "Oh, guys, keep your fingers crossed that this works." Then in a few minutes she says, "Praise God! Back in business!!" And she seems real happy. Whatever.

But, today was fun! We didn't escape like Copper keeps doing, we aren't that adventurous. Actually Skip has it all figured out - all you have to do is go out the door, act like you are peeing, and run back in and you get a cookie. Sometimes he even leaves out the peeing part.

Thanks to all my friends who have visited - and sorry it has taken so long to write back. Mom says the kids are going on a trip for 10 days and she can't wait for some "peacenquiet." Whatever that is, I am hoping it is food and we get some too.

Skip hasn't been feeling well, he has the bless-yous. That is what Mom keeps telling him after he makes that funny noise. Ok, I have to go read some adventures now cause it has been pretty boring around here. Except when the UPS man comes and we get to bark alot.

I live for blogging!

I was so excited to get started blogging this morning, that this is how mom found me! I mean, how can I resist with the pink keyboard and mouse? A writer must write.

Here is a shout out to my friend Copper and his "prison break" post. I thought Skip and I were the only escape artists. First, mom would keep up penned up in the kitchen with these ridiculous gates. It took us about 3 days to figure out how to knock them down. Then, she came up with the brilliant idea of putting us in the basement (with our blankies and toys, of course). That lasted one night because we scratched all the paint off the door. Now, we have to stay in a horrible cage.

Well, it isn't that horrible. It was for our cousin, Fancy, who is a Greyhound but she got to go live in Germany where all dogs are allowed to go everywhere, even inside shops and restaurants. Our cage is really a big playground because mom puts lots of pillows and blankies in there for us. She has started buying the pillows, blankies, and toys at the thrift store because we "destroy everything," as she says. We like to hide under everything. Even when we sneak up on the couch under the blanket, mom and the kids always lift up the blanket and say, "Is anyone under here?" We have been sat on a few times.

Well, that's my commentary today. I'll give you a report on Skip's bath tomorrow. He found something dead in the yard and just had to roll in it. BIG P U!!!! He stinks. Boys will be boys.

Have a good day!

Please, I beg you!

This is what I have been doing for the past 4 days to get mom to write something for my friends on my blog. I just keep following her around and doing this poor, pitiful, me routine. All mom can say lately is, "When are these kids going back to school?!!! They are driving me crazy." I think she is having a meltdown because everything is driving her crazy. Something about muddy feet on the carpet, "you kids are eating everything!" and more rantings about "when do I get a vacation? I never get a vacation - it is all about the kids!"

So, Skip and I just love her and lick her feet and try to be really good. Mom keeps wondering how come I get so many comments and visitors on my dog blog, and she doesn't get many on her real blog. So maybe some of you moms and secretaries, or even dogs, can go to her real blog and leave her a comment so she will get in a better mood and give us more treats. Hey, I'm just here to help. Talk to you soon! Luv ~ Bailey ~
